Organic Cucumber Vodka

Ok I have to admit... I'm kind of a Martini snob. I love Martini's.... but I'm a total purist. Don't hand me an appletini... I'll probably throw it back at you. But when I heard of Square One releasing it's new Organic Cucumber Vodka..I had to give it a shot.

Not only is the Vodka organic...but it's also very, very good. I made a traditional vodka martini with a little vermouth and some thin twists of cucumber for garnish.

That tasted so good I decided to do google some drink recipes for cucumber vodka. The Square One website offers some great recipes... I think tonight Im going to try either The Guayabera or The August Sun this evening. Both look amazing!

Yes, it does sound like it might be good. Some of the others . . . not so much.

I can't do martinis at all. There's something bitter about it that doesn't sit well with me. There is a place here called "Martini's" that serves martinis and martinis only. They have more different types of martinis than there are shovel ready projects for the Federal Stimuls Bill.

Mike  I am a purist of anothe kind.  I like cucumber straight--straight from the vine with maybe a little salt or vinegar, skip the vodka.  For drinks--I like dry white wine.  My Hubby loves his vodka martini so you can join him any time.  After five you can find us on our front porch.  Stop by & he will fix one for you.

Mary- I'm with you on the cukes straight from the vine. Kinda like tomatoes. It sounds like your hubby and I would get along great.

Hi Mike! Thanks for stopping by my blog. I love martinis too! I had some good ones at KOTO our new Jananese Bistro the other night. They use something like pink vodka for a cosmo. I need to go back and check that out again.
